The Founders
Two Complementary Roles. One Structured Vision.
AL AMBRA PERFUMES was not built on a single perspective.
It was built through the alignment of product understanding and operational strategy.
The company reflects the combined work of two founders:
- Product-led vision and market insight
- Structured execution and controlled expansion
Abdul Rahiman Mukarithottam
Founder & Creative Director
Product Direction | Fragrance Development | Brand Identity
“Fragrance is not just scent. It is memory, identity, and personal expression.”
Early Foundation
Abdul Rahiman Mukarithottam’s journey into perfumery began before the brand itself.
Originally from Kasaragod, Kerala, India, he developed an early interest in scent, influenced by environment, culture, and personal curiosity.
His professional experience began in Dubai within the fragrance retail sector, where he worked directly with customers in high-traffic retail environments.
Retail Experience and Market Understanding
This hands-on experience provided direct insight into:
- Customer scent preferences across demographics
- Real purchasing behavior in UAE fragrance retail
- Demand for oud, amber, and oriental compositions
- Performance expectations in hot and humid climates
- Limitations of generic, mass-market fragrances
This was not theoretical knowledge. It was developed through daily interaction with real customers and real buying decisions.
Founding Vision
In 2016, Abdul Rahiman established AL AMBRA PERFUMES with a clear objective:
Build a fragrance brand focused on performance, structured development, and manufacturing control.
The brand was designed to bridge a specific gap:
- Middle Eastern fragrance depth
- Combined with modern, refined presentation
- Supported by consistent product performance
Role in the Company
As Founder & Creative Director, he is responsible for:
- Fragrance direction and composition alignment

- Consistent brand positioning across markets
Role in the Company
As Co-Founder & Strategy Director, he oversees:

Shared Philosophy
The founders operate under a unified approach:
- Maintain manufacturing independence
